Our office will be closed for our annual summer vacation Monday, July 25th - Friday, July 29. We will have limited access to email so if any client has an emergency and needs us during that time please leave a message for me on our emergency line. That number can found on the Help page inside your 4aGoodCause reporting site. It will also be noted as always on our voice mail here in the office. For all other issues please just email me or leave me a voice mail and I will get with you the week of August 1.

A new twist on radiothons - Cox Media Group Online Radiothon for Ronald McDonald Houses of Orlando

Many nonprofits raise money through radiothons. Most of the time this involves a defined block of radio time (typically a day or two) where DJs exclusively discuss the charity and how people can give. One of our clients, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida, is trying a new twist on the radiothon concept this year.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida has teamed with Cox Media to do an online radiothon. Through various promotions and announcements, over a three week period, radio listeners are directed to the radio station web site to learn more about and to give to Ronald McDonald House. Links are provided from the radio station to the Ronald McDonald House web site where donors can make an online donation.  

We were happy to build a custom donation form for RMHCCF just for this event. We're curious how this model will work for RMHCCF compared to traditional radiothons they have done in the past. 

 Ronald McDonald House provides a “home-away-from-home” that offers comfort and care to families with seriously ill or injured children receiving treatment at local hospitals and medical facilities in Orlando.
