I mentioned in my last blog posting that it was back to school time. For parents that means it is time to pay school fees again. These fees can be anything from student activity fees, class dues, yearbook purchases, graduation fees and everything in between. For the school, this normally means a flood of checks, cash and paper order forms that need to be processed manually, a time and resource intensive endeavor that can frustrate staff and parents alike.
Luckily, there is an electronic alternative to all this paper. One of our newest clients, Cheltenham School District in Elkins Park, PA, is using the 4aGoodCause School Payment Center. Now district administrators can reduce paper, get paid faster, launch products with ease, record orders electronically and automatically alert department heads when fees are paid. We set up the site to allow the district to take payment for all the schools in the district.
Cheltenham School District is launching the payment center with a sale of commemorative bricks for three of its schools. We look forward to the rest of the school year as Cheltenham expands into new products.
