Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) is one our oldest and most dear clients. They have used our e-commerce services for many years and have raised millions of dollars online. Those online donations to AFA have helped support their commitment to provide optimal care to individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, and their caregivers all across the United States. AFA raises awareness, educates families and professionals, and addresses the practical, emotional and financial needs related to the disease via hands-on programs and services in local communities, and myriad care-focused national initiatives and grants to individuals and organizations.
AFA is the latest of our good causes to launch our personal online fundraising system. This system allows a nonprofit's supporters to launch personal fundraising pages and raise money online on behalf of the nonprofit. Many of the early pages being created in support of AFA are pages dedicated to loved ones lost to Alzheimer’s disease. These pages not only honor the memory of these individuals but also raise money to help care for persons currently struggling with dementia.
