4aGoodCause charities had average online donation size of $113 in 2009

We've just started some analysis of how our charities did in 2009. While the overall fundraising trend in this down economy has been towards smaller gifts, our clients were able to maintain a high per-donation-average of $113 in 2009.  In the next few weeks, I'll dig into our 2008 data to get more information on giving trends from 2008 to 2009. Our $113 average only reflects online donations and does not include other methods our clients use for fundraising such as online event sales or products sales, which can have higher averages sale amounts.

More to come on this topic in future blog postings.

Our office will be closed on Thursday, March 4th, electrical work rescheduled

Our office will be closed on Thursday, March 4th due to some electrical work being done that will cause the power to be out. We had hoped to have this done on Tuesday but the snowstorm here in Georgia (our third snow this year) delayed the work. Our main phone number will be down on that day but clients can reach me on our emergency cell number should they need to reach us. This electrical work has no impact on client web sites. Sorry for the inconvenience.
